Method
Senior. Independent. Written. Accountable.
Kyzor is built to be the opposite of the deck-driven consultancy and the conflicted advisor. The firm is structured, staffed, and compensated to keep its interests aligned with the operator in the room.
Operating Principles
Five non-negotiables.
01
Aligned by structure.
Capital comes from the firm. Counsel is paid by the client. No reseller margin, referral fees, or rev-share with any vendor. Alignment is engineered, not promised.
02
Senior in every room.
Kyzor does not staff pyramids. The principal who scopes the engagement is the principal in the room when the decision gets made.
03
Scoped and finite.
Every engagement has a written charter, a defined clock, and a board-ready deliverable. The firm does not invent reasons to extend.
04
Evidence over opinion.
Recommendations are supported by financial models, scored diagnostics, and benchmark data. When the firm makes a call, it shows the work.
05
Accountable past the close.
Kyzor stands behind the recommendation after the engagement ends. The firm's reputation, and its capital, live downstream of the call.
Engagement Arc
How an engagement actually runs.
Every engagement, whether incubation, investment, or advisory, follows the same arc: align on the decision, diagnose what is real, recommend in writing, then sit with the client while the call gets made.
Phase 01
Pre-engagement
Alignment
A private conversation with the firm. We confirm fit, scope, the decision in front of you, and whether Kyzor is the right room. If not, we say so.
Phase 02
Weeks 1 to 3
Diagnosis
Working sessions with leadership, board, and operating teams. We document the current state, the constraints, and the decisions the engagement must produce.
Phase 03
Weeks 3 to 8
Recommendation
Written report. Cost and risk model. Vendor, capital, or organizational shortlist. Every recommendation carries the rationale, the math, and the dissent we considered.
Phase 04
Through the call
Decision Support
The principal stays in the room while the client makes the call. Vendor pressure-testing, board prep, contract review, and a second opinion on every move.
First 30 Days
What the first month looks like.
Most engagements deliver a board-ready recommendation inside four weeks. The cadence is fixed before week one.
- Week 0101
Scope and access.
Charter signed. Data room opened. Stakeholders mapped. The decision the engagement must produce is documented in one paragraph.
- Week 0202
Diligence.
Working sessions with leadership and operating teams. Vendor, financial, and technology evidence collected first-hand.
- Week 0303
Synthesis.
Findings tested against benchmark data. The model gets built. The dissent gets written down before the recommendation is.
- Week 0404
Recommendation in the room.
Written report delivered. Walk-through with the principal in the room. The firm stays available through the decision.
Fit is established before the engagement begins.
Kyzor is a small firm by design. New clients begin with a private conversation, by referral or request.
